This program is divided into two parts:
First Part: Prerequisite Courses (11 courses)
It is for those who do not have a university degree in Arabic language. They must study eleven courses of the Arabic language that offered in BA program in Islamic and Arabic Studies. Each course is explained through videos and audios along with weekly live sessions with the instructor as shown in the table below.
Admission Prerequisites:
- A BA credited university degree.
- Arabic language is the applicant’s first language or already studied.
- A non-native Arabic speaker can register for this program if he/she receives a certificate and proves their wide study of Arabic language.
- Personal interview
Note:
- Those who received a BA in a different field other than the Arabic language must register for the preliminary courses. Moreover, they can register for the specialized courses if they pass the eleven exams of the preliminary courses and pay $50 for each (Exam fees).
- If a student fails to pass those exams, he/she must register for the preliminary courses and pay the tuition fees.
- A student will receive a transcript along with an attendance certificate after finishing these eleven prerequisite courses.
- Those who received a BA in Arabic language are exempted from going through eleven preliminary courses. They can directly go to the second part (the specialized courses).
Duration of Study:
- 33 months/186 hours if studied one after one.
Second Part: Specialized courses (7 courses)
It is for those who received a university degree in Arabic language.
Admission Prerequisites:
- A credit university degree in Arabic language.
- Having a credited university degree in Arabic language or finishing the above-mentioned eleven courses.
Note:
- A student will receive a transcript along with an attendance certificate after finishing these seven specialized courses.
- A student will receive a specialized diploma in Teaching Arabic Language for the non-Arabic Speakers, certified by the US Department of State. It costs $200 for an Arabic and English versions other than the shipping fee. (optional)
- The tuition fee includes courses’ credits and the final exams.
- If a student fails the final exam, he/she must pay $25 to retake it one time.
Duration of Study:
- Ten months comprised of 120 hours of study including Arabic writing.

Language Skills Objectives
Our objective in this special professional program is fluency in listening and communication skills alongside with reading and writing. The student is expected to be capable of teaching non-Arabic speakers, and accomplish the following:
- The various daily interactions in every aspect of life
- The courage to utilize the language with confidence
- Practicing the teaching methods and the linguistic skills.
- Becoming skilled at reading comprehension of the contents of the chosen materials.
- Comprehending some of the fundamentals of functional grammar and functional morphology.
- Completely mastering the fundamentals of writing Arabic and teaching.
Methods of Evaluation and Assessment
- Exercises for listening, pronouncing, writing, Qur’anic recitation, alongside developing vocabulary and word structure during each class.
- Exercises in the notebook – 15% of the total grade.
- Classroom activities, participation, and attendance – 10% of the total grade.
- Final analytical exam – 75% of the total grade.
