4. Language Skills Objectives
- Teaching the language communicatively to students who have some linguistic information, studied the Preliminary book, or have linguistic information studied before.
- Intensifying skill-based education in listening, speaking, reading, and writing along with the skill of thinking in the Arabic language, according to the level of students having low linguistic information.
- Caring about linguistic exercises based on the mentioned dialogues to provide students with understanding vocabulary, comprehending simple grammatical information and rules of Arabic writing, and distinguishing some problematic Arabic sounds for beginners.
- Based on the previous point, solving the book’s exercises is orally done between the teacher and his students or the students themselves, and then in writing form.
- Based on the principle that the best way to teach any new language is to train learners on the method of thinking in it through appropriate exercises within the information they acquired in terms of vocabulary, linguistic and spelling rules, problematic sounds, … etc.
- Although the dialogues in the book are intended to teach students to communicate linguistically in similar situations, as in the first objectives, these dialogues aim to help students master the reading skill.
- The book also aims to strengthen the students’ self-confidence when reading one or more paragraphs and understanding them without difficulty, through summarizing the dialogues in each unit, where the student will find himself able to understand the topic at the end of each unit.
- Training students to solve comprehension exercises after each topic. Lastly, this level is the beginning of employing linguistic communication through all linguistic skills, information, and language arts.
